COURSE OBJECTIVES
Selected Topics in Uterine Corpus Pathology
• Have a good understanding of the main subtypes of endometrial carcinoma, focussing on endometrioid, mucinous and serous subtypes, encompassing histologic and immunohistochemical features and entities to rule out in the differential diagnosis
• Have a good understanding of the diagnostic criteria of mullerian adenosarcoma, histologic factors associated with prognosis and differential diagnosis
• Have a good understanding of the spectrum of endometrial stromal tumors, an overview of the main entities in the differential diagnosis and the role of immunohistochemistry in differential diagnosis
• Have a good understanding of the diagnostic criteria for the different subtypes of uterine leiomyosarcoma
