Bladder

Bladder cancer (BC) is less common than PCa, nevertheless around 10000 cases are detected in France every year. One of the major problems is relapse, but also multifocality, including the upper urinary tract. New technologies such as fluorescence cystoscopy have allowed a more precise resection of flat lesions, but also led to their increased impact of their pathology reporting. Recently new entities have been described, and efforts have been made to standardize staging especially in pTa/pT1 (non muscle invasive BC). Criteria for better handling of biopsies and resections to improve patients’ outcome exist. The aim of the course is to improve knowledge on these above mentioned data, to improve handling of these lesions.
